A LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT "STUDY, PLAY, LOVE...."

I know you are familiar with the "love chapter" in First Corinthians which includes these words, "And now there are 3: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love." Jessup has recently been chatting with our community and with our students about a variation on that theme with the words, "Study, Play, Love". For many of our prospective students, the ability to study in a Christ centered, highly relational, and transformational community at Jessup is exactly what they have been looking for. The

ability to enjoy the amazing beauty and resources of the Sacramento region and access the uniqueness of the Bay Area and the scenery of Lake Tahoe is a glorious ecosystem for the Jessup experience. Jessup University is thriving and people are discovering a deeper love for this geography, for the unique spiritual environment here, and for the people that make up our community. It is likely no surprise to you that California continues to push ahead with "progressive" policies and

stands on social issues that are at odds with the vast majority of the nation and with the orthodox and Biblical standards affirmed by William Jessup University.

Jessup has experienced the favor of the Lord in

recent years as we have remained faithful to a clearly Biblical, loving, and redemptive view of men and women, and marriage and family. I believe that part of the reason our University continues to grow is that we are modeling a healthy and redemptive heartbeat for the world we live in. Thank you for your support as we continue to build a supportive setting for Christ honoring, Biblical, Constitutional, and rich environment for educating transformational leaders for the glory of God. By the way, as I write this it is early Spring. Not only are we getting intermittent rain and sunshine

and beautiful flowers, we are seeing love all around us! Several of our Jessup students are announcing engagements and many of our graduates are announcing babies and career moves. It is always helpful to our community to celebrate with you! If you have personal news to share, please drop us a line at alumni@ jessup.edu. God is doing a great work here at Jessup and you are part of that story. Jessup is a place where people come to study, play, and love...but the greatest of these is love as we receive the love of Jesus and share His love with the world around us.

Blessings!

John Jackson, Ph.D. President
