PAGE 2 | JULY 2015 District Meetings Meet your trustee and other cooperative staff members at district meetings

Trustees for TCEC are elected to serve three year terms for each of nine districts. The districts are grouped so that three of the nine districts hold elections every year. For 2015, districts 3, 4 and 9 will host meetings to elect trustees in July. Meeting notices were mailed in June to members in these districts. District meetings allow members to voice their choice for their member representative.

Chris Purdy, vice president of Member Solutions, said, “District meetings are a great example of the local control that sets us apart from investor-owned utilities. We encourage our members to attend their district meeting.”

Any member who meets the trustee qualifi cations can fi le for candidacy in their district during its fi ling period.

T e cooperative’s bylaws govern the qualifi cations and election of trustees. Visit www.tcec.coop to view them.

All members are invited to the cooperative’s Sept. 10 annual meeting. Look for your invitation in the mail along with our annual report later next month. n
