demand that anything they lend their name to isworthy of it – even if, in the case ofASG, it is airguns rather than the real thing. ActionSportGames
models from STI International and Steyr.
MOVING FORWARD
One of its latest forays is into air rifles, which began with the launch of the TAC4.5 non- blowback gun, which takes 4.5mm BBs. Tis lightweight,CO2-
powered airgun boasts an ergonomic pistol grip that holds the 4.5mm BBs in a stick type magazine allowing a fast reload. Tere’s a full-length
Picatinny-styled top rail for optics and accessories while the lower part has a long rail for attaching the included fully adjustable folding bipod, and can be used for other equipment like tactical lights. Tere’s even an integrated mounting bay for
a laser aiming module especially designed for this rifle. Te move into air rifles has
also just seen it unveil a string of other models from famous names such as Mauser and Blaser. It’s been a long time coming
but the firm is clear that it wanted to ensure it got everything absolutely right before entering this competitive market. However, it is confident that
its background in air pistols and its strong partnerships with the brands it has acquired licences for will allow it to take on the market head-on. As if that wasn‘t enough, it
is now also off ering a number ofWebley air rifles, some as springer break-barrels and some,
such as the Quantum model, using the D-Ram gas piston system, which is claimed to allow a smoother cocking action with the added benefi t of better shot consistency. Everything ASG does is
underpinned by its principles and these are enshrined in its DESK acronym. Tis stands for Dedication,
Entrepreneurship, Service and Knowledge, all of which help focus the team on the job in hand and help them stay one step ahead of the competition. ASG says it can demonstrate
its total dedication to the trade, quality and its customers through a common identity, focus and commitment. Entrepreneurship is identifi ed by development, energy, a strong
solidarity and the will and urge to be the best, putting ASG at the front of its market. Te service element comes
from its willingness to work rationally, based on fact and through eff ective systems, all supported by its strong team of employees. Finally, its knowledge of the
trade, products and technical skills makes ASG the preferred partner for both suppliers and end users. All in all, it makes ASG a key
player in the airgun field and, the firm promises, there is plenty more to come.
