it’s important that the quality of them remains at the highest level. When it’s someone else’s

name on the products you make, then it is paramount. Fortunately, Danish airsoft and airgun manufacturer ASG doesn’t mess around when it comes to making licensed products. Brands like DanWesson, CZ,
Bersa and STI demand that anything they lend their name to is worthy of it – even if, in the case of ASG, it is airguns rather than the real thing. But the company, which
has recently moved into new headquarters in the Danish town of Espergærde, just a

couple of miles from its original Humlebaek home, takes its responsibilities seriously. Indeed, apart from the fact
that its pistols, revolvers and – now – air rifles, shoot pellets and use either air or CO2, you would be hard pushed to tell them from the real thing. And that’s all part of the plan for the airgun giant.
AS REALAS THEY COME Take an icon such as the Dan Wesson revolver, in either 2.5in, 6in or 8in versions and it soon becomes clear that the attention to detail is amazing, the feel is ultra-realistic and even the cartridges that hold the airgun pellets have been designed to mimic the way you load a traditional revolver like this.
Te whole thing has been
made of metal, with the exception of the ergonomic grip, made from hard ABS plastic. It makes it look and feel ‘right’with a proper weight to it. Even the forward cylinder
latch and the clockwise rotation of the cylinder on the real firearms have been faithfully replicated. Tere are many variations
of the Dan Wesson offering, including special editions. CZ’s P-09, SP-01 Shadow,
75 and P-07 have also been faithfully reproduced. ASG has access to CZ’s
own designs, which means that replicas can be reproduced as close as possible to the real thing.
Te SP-01 Shadow, for
example, also features fibre optic front and rear sights and has benefited from input from the same people that designed the real thing for the law enforcement, police and military markets. Meanwhile, it has also
produced its version of the next generation of the CZ 75 family, the P-07 Duty. And, as you would expect with a company that prides itself on replicating real firearms, it is available in several versions (either blowback or non- blowback) plus a Dual Tone model. Bersa’s BP9CC is also
available, again in blowback and non-blowback options and in Dual Tone. You can also find
