shields and helmets. Emerging out of the
traditional official agency meeting held at the start of IWA OutdoorClassics,EnforceTac has already become a key part of the week. Te growing interest in having
a highly discreet international platformfor knowledge-sharing about law enforcement, security and tactical equipment led to the premiere of EnforceTac in 2012 as a separate, standalone trade fair in the congress centre of NürnbergMesse. In 2016, 152 exhibitors
and 2,759 trade visitors and conference delegates from65 countries travelled toNuremberg for the fifth round of the event. Following terrorist attacks
in the heart of Europe recently, JoachimHerrmann, the Bavarian minister of the interior, building and transport andmember of the Bavarian Parliament, sees enormous challenges for security forces inGermany and the rest of Europe. He said: “We aimtomeet
these constantly growing challenges through strong, well-equipped security
forces. To enable themto do a professional job they needmodern, technically advanced equipment. “Te special EnforceTac
trade fair offers an outstanding platformto bring together security experts fromofficial agencies and institutions with specialistmanufacturers.”
