Atlas Copco has expanded its de-watering equipment range with a range of diesel-driven portable pumps. The company says that the 4in, 6in and 8in dry-prime PAS 4, PAS 6 and PAS 8 models are best suited for moving or lifting water with abrasive solids in suspension, such as at construction sites and mines, areas of flood water or stream diversions and sewage bypass.
The machines have an operating flow range of 50 to 600m3 per
hour with a maximum head of 37m. Their solids handling capacity reaches up to 76mm. An environmentally friendly, oil-free vacuum pump priming system is incorporated to automatically remove air from the water for uninterrupted, unsupervised operation. Atlas Copco also offers electric, pneumatic and hydraulic submersible pumps.
