It’s a Question of Waste


If you attended this year’s W.A.S.T.E’15, you may have seen people entering our competition to win £300.


We asked all of our exhibitors to give us a question that was unique to them, so entrants couldn’t Google any answers. We had everything from ‘How


many dogs does Norman have?’ to ‘Which sport did Helen compete in at an Olympic level?’ The task was nothing short of


a mission, and we are delighted to announce that Eifion Jones, was picked at random after answering all 24 questions correctly. Eifion, who has worked for Conway


County Borough Council for 25 years, was invited to the Skip Hire Magazine offices to meet the team and pick up his prize cheque. “I’d done Hillhead, Plantworx and RWM


previously and decided to visit W.A.S.T.E to see what it was like. The show was excellent, easy to get to and there was plenty there. “When I found out I had won the


competition, my reaction was ‘Gosh’ – I told my family that I had entered it, but didn’t

think I would win it, so it was a nice surprise. “I couldn’t believe it when I got a phone call


off the editor to say I had won a large cash prize. It took a long time to collect the answers, but I am glad I did. “I’ve got a couple of hotel stays in


Lincolnshire next month, visiting RAF Kirkby, so the prize money will go towards paying for that.” Eifion, who is a reader of Skip Hire
