CIAT

CIAT has expanded its product range to include DX air conditioners. CIAT’s new Stella high-wall split system off ers fully reversible operation under inverter control, Wi-Fi enabled control, and monitoring. The high-effi ciency unit has seasonal energy effi ciency ratio (SEER) values in excess of 7 and seasonal coeffi cient of performance (SCOP) values all above 4, putting it in the top rank of modern split systems. The Mambo small commercial range of fl oor-standing console air conditioners features full inverter control and reversible heat pump operation. The units are highly fl exible, with two air outlets and four air inlets. CIAT’s new Salsa cassette heat pump air conditioner has a 360 degree air-fl ow design to ensure even temperature distribution, without creating draughts. The new slim CIAT ducted range off ers nominal cooling capacities from 3.52kW to 15.54kW and heating from 3.8kW to 17.6kW. Fully reversible and with in-built inverter control, the system off ers a wide static pressure range, with a maximum static pressure of 160 pascals. Completing the range is a series of CIAT multi-split outdoor condensing units, with options capable of serving between two and fi ve indoor units. www.ciat.uk.com

Hubbard Systems

Hubbard Systems has launched a new Scotsman ice machine, capable of producing almost 700kg of ice per day, yet able to fi t into the industry standard 760mm (30 inch) wide format. This latest member of the NW Series, the NW 1408, is the Slim Fitter. The NW 1408 is one of

Scotsman’s vertical evaporator range of products. A modular machine, sitting on top of a separate ice bin, it makes either full-sized 12g dice ice cubes or 6g half dice ice cubes. Alongside its ability to slot into small spaces, the Slim Fitter is kitted out with the latest Scotsman ice system technology, including the innovative and simple to operate ‘one touch’ cleaning system. This makes it easy and eff ortless for staff to maintain the day-to-day hygiene of the machine.

Simon Aspin, commercial director at Hubbard Systems said: “Being able to pack this much ice production into the industry standard 30 inch format is going to be a huge bonus for sites such as hotels and QSRs.” www.scotsman-ice.co.uk

Panasonic Meaco

MeacoWall is the latest addition from Meaco, and part of its award- winning Platinum range of commercial low energy dehumidifi ers. An advanced and stylish solution for humidity control where wall mounting is an important requirement, MeacoWall is ideal for maintaining the perfect environment.

Available in three sizes, 53l, 72l, and 103l, benefi ts of the new range include reduced running costs and noise levels, better energy effi ciency, and a design that incorporates a front glass panel for a stylish look. At just 202mm deep these dehumidifi ers will not protrude far into a room. New features include the incorporation of a DC fan motor that helps to reduce running costs and keeps noise levels very low. As a heat pump compressor dehumidifi er, all energy used in the drying process is sent back to the space, delivering dry, warm air whilst keeping energy costs down. A unique glass fi nish means they look great, coming in a white casing with either a white or black glass front panel that incorporates light touch LED. Installation is fl exible, with the option of continuous drainage from the right or left hand side of the dehumidifi er. Panasonic has redesigned its Mini VRF heating and cooling units to produce the most compact, yet effi cient Mini ECOi series ever. The new Mini ECOi VRF models for residential and light

commercial applications deliver powerful performance for properties with limited outdoor space and boast signifi cant energy savings, easy installation and high effi ciency.

The Mini ECOi Series includes 4HP, 5HP and 6HP models and the range has the best EER and COP rating in industry, with single fan 4HP units achieving a maximum EER of 4.50 and a maximum COP of 5.19. The new models include a bigger fan motor than previous ranges, plus a larger fan width of 540mm in diameter and a new fan design to provide a much lower air fl ow and electrical consumption rate. The new bluefi n heat exchanger pattern also makes the Mini ECOi more eff ective in extreme conditions. The range off ers up to 50m piping length between the outdoor and furthest indoor unit, without the need for an additional refrigerant charge. The new units also off er a silent mode which can maintain the same operating capacity, which allows greater fl exibility when installing the units in residential areas.
