From A-Gas to Vulkan Lokring, from Fujitsu to Sanhua, the exhibitor list is wide and varied with leading manufacturers throughout. But the Show off ers so much more, with associations such as the Institute of Refrigeration (IoR), FETA and BESA on hand, and the IoR will once again be holding its 2018 annual conference at the Show.

The HVAC & Refrigeration Show is taking place from 23 to 25 January at ExCel. ACR News takes a sneak peek and has a chat with just a few of the exhibitors to see what’s cool at the show.

Responding to visitor feedback, the Show will feature new elements in 2018. It will be including refrigerated and chilled food transportatation for example, and also a three day series of live debates on key topics in the HVACR Theatre discussing future industry issues. These will be presented by a panel of guest speakers, including Victoria Lockheart from the International WELL Building Institute (IBWI), Dr Michelle Agha Hossein of BSRIA, Paul Huggins from the Carbon Trust and Simon Wyatt from the consultancy Cundall. The seminar programme for this year’s Show is CPD accredited and takes place in two

dedicated areas – the HVACR Theatre and the Training & Careers Theatre. Alongside all of this is the national SkillFRIDGE competition, which will be launching its 2018 series at the Show. Visitors will be able to watch apprentices competing live as well as fi nd out about investing in or taking on apprentices.

The ACR News Awards runs on the middle night of the Show on 24 January. The Awards is a premier networking event, with not only awards celebrating excellence within our industry and but also entertainment in the form of host Miles Jupp.
