Following the official introduction of the new Wind-Free wall-mounted air conditioner platform in January this year, Samsung now announces the Wind-Free Deluxe, a wall-mounted air conditioner for its VRF (DVM) and Eco Heating System (EHS) heat pumps.
With Wind-Free Deluxe for VRF, Samsung extends its Wind-Free wall-mounted range to medium sized and large commercial buildings, such as hotels or offices. With Wind-Free Deluxe for EHS, an all-in- one heating and cooling solution can be created for residential houses. The Wind-Free Deluxe features Samsung’s unique Wind-Free Cooling technology, complemented by intelligent control options and a high ease of installation.
For EHS, the Wind-Free Deluxe can be combined with the TDM Plus heat pump and Tank Integrated Hydro Unit, to form a ClimateHub solution for cooling, heating and domestic hot water supply. Steve Fleming, Head of Air Conditioning at Samsung commented; “At Samsung, we’re always keen to launch the most innovative products to market, and this product extension is an example of that. Since the launch of the Wind Free range, it has always been our goal to make Wind-Free technology available for a wider audience. The product is able to disperse air in a uniform stream, to allow the user to be comfortable, without experiencing those unpleasant cold drafts.”

Gel-Clear
Gel-Clear has Introduced a range of non-hazardous, food safe concentrated cleaners and sanitisers from Gel Clear - Eco-clear refrigeration sanitising cleaner and Air-clear HVAC coil sanitising cleaner.
Gel-clear has also unveiled Ice Clean, its first specialist cleaner for ice machines. Created with performance in mind the new range are 10 times more concentrated than any other concentrate on the market and are built on the Gel-clear ethos of solution lead, quality products. These high performance products are the first non-hazardous concentrates on the market, with no COSHH requirements, and are NSF- accredited for safe use in food preparation areas. The new range of concentrates are more than just cleaners - they
utilise Gel-clear’s unique, award winning antibacterial coating method which a leaves long-lasting antibacterial shield on the coil and condensate pan improving performance and air quality in the process. The new cleaners come in easy-to-use 250ml bottles and 100ml pouches with each handy 250 ml dispensing bottle containing enough to dilute to 20 litres, which is enough to clean coil & pans on 40 cabinets.

Slim and elegant in design, the unit comes with intelligent technology to provide high quality air-conditioning, including built-in WiFi capabilities. This range also comes with nanoe™X Technology as standard, which is designed to harness the naturally occurring cleaning properties of Hydroxyl radicals. Hydroxyl radicals inhibit the growth of pollutants such as bacteria, viruses, moulds, and odours, breaking them down and neutralising their unpleasant effects. nanoe™ X Technology significantly boosts their effectiveness, increasing Hydroxyl radicals’ lifetime from less than a second in nature, to more than 600 seconds – 10 minutes. Panasonic’s TZ has undergone major improvements to its design, with a smaller and more sophisticated chassis at only 779mm wide, whilst still maintaining impressive power and efficiency. The unit’s filter catches harmful particulate matter (PM2.5) often found suspended in the air – including dust, hazardous pollutants, pollen, dirt, smoke, and liquid droplets. The filter catches and reduces particles, helping maintain the room’s air quality.
Furthermore, Panasonic’s basic range of Wall Type units all provide
impressive heating and cooling capabilities in a stylish, matt designed casing, with a new chassis design for easy installation. All Wall-Type units include Panasonic’s Aerowings; two independent blades that concentrate airflow to cool a room in the shortest time possible and which help distribute air evenly throughout a room.
