HARTING adds Gigabit interfaces with high mating cycles to Han-Modular® connector range H

ARTING has expanded its Han-Modular® connector family with the addition of two shielded Cat 6A data modules. These combine high mating-cycle (HMC) capability with operation at data rates in the Gigabit Ethernet range. The introduction of the new modules is in response to the increasing modularisation of industrial facilities, which is leading to a growing demand for high mating-cycle connectors capable of handling high-speed data in addition to the transmission of power and signals. Designed for use with the basic Han-Modular® HMC hinged frame, the two new modules are the Han® Megabit HMC module and the Han® Gigabit HMC module. Both modules provide secure and shielded data transmission at up to 10,000 mating cycles. An optimised surface in the mating area ensures long-lasting and reliable performance.
