Licenced or hosted?
A good 15% of the total deals signed last year were on a hosted basis. This also reflects a shift in customer preferences. 19 of the 53 deals in Europe were on a hosted model, while Asia clocked just 11.
Licensed & Hosted Systems
While Probanx and SAP loan management had four of their respective deals on a hosted basis, Infosys, Sword Apak, Asseco, Avaloq and Colvir made three sales on the hosted model respectively.
When| TA monthly performance reviewers
It is interesting to note that there has never been a lull in the banking technology world. A quick look at the sales perfor- mance over a 12 month period, both in 2014 and 2015, reflects a consistent pattern of month-on-month sales, hovering at an average of 15 to 20 deals a month. While
the month of January has always historical- ly been the lowest in terms of sales, there is a clearly visible and sharp increase towards the end of the year. Close to 30% of sales happen in the last 60 days of the year. This isn’t surprising, though, considering that annual targets and year-end sales are

directly correlated, and bankers also like to conclude key initiatives for the year, wherever large vendor selections are being actively pursued. And January tends to generally be
slow; deals take time to warm up again after a brief winter holiday.
