Dancing feet back on 42nd Street


The ultimate showbiz musical, 42nd Street, began previews in London on 20 March, opening on 4 April. For those who love song and dance and a bit of glitz and glamour, this high-kicking American dream fable of Broadway is the ideal ticket. It follows the story of young Peggy


Sawyer, fresh off the bus from small-town America and just another face in the chorus line of Broadway’s latest show. But, when the leading lady gets injured, Peggy might just get that shot at stardom she’s always dreamed of. The show features the songs such

Miss Saigon on Broadway


The first-ever New York revival of Boublil and Schönberg’s musical Miss Saigon opened at the Broadway Theatre on 23 March. Directed by Laurence Connor and produced by Sir Cameron Mackintosh — who also helmed the smash-hit London revival — the West End staging’s two stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and Eva Noblezada as Kim, will lead the cast of the New York production.
