With over 227 million youth and student travellers generating almost US$250 billion in international tourism receipts for 2014, Generation Z is worth understanding. So what can we expect from Generation Z? WYSE Travel Confederation will discuss ways that the youth will shape not only the youth travel segment but the broader travel industry. Although historically cheap and basic, today youth hostels are seen as authentic ways to experience destinations, able to cultivate the needs of its core target group: the Millennials. WYSE Travel Confederation and STAY WISE present key findings from current research and discuss what lies ahead for hostels. Bringing the Adventure Travel Community Together at the ATTA AdventureConnect Gathering
When: Wednesday 4 November, 15:30-17:30 Where: South Gallery 15&16 The ATTA and its regional representatives deliver AdventureConnect events to facilitate networking among outdoor and adventure-focused tour operators, travel agents, destination representatives, tourism boards, gear and apparel brands, travel writers/media and more. Join the ATTA for an AdventureConnect gathering, held in co-operation with the World Travel Market London and Peru. Following this a networking AdventureConnect Social will take place at the Peru stand. During this event, we are seeking to inspire the travel community into greater actions focusing on responsible and sustainable adventure travel around the globe.
