1 King’s Cross station Where the young wizards catch the Hogwarts Express from platform 9¾. 2 London Zoo Reptile House On film, it replaces the Surrey zoo where the ten-year-old Harry accidentally sets a giant python loose. 3 Leadenhall Market This ornate covered market doubles up as Diagon Alley and the entrance to The Leaky Cauldron. 4 Australia House Oz’s diplomatic residence is a stand- in for goblin-run bank Gringotts. 5 St Pancras International Used to film the exteriors of King’s Cross. It’s also where the flying Ford Anglia in ‘The Chambers of Secrets’ is parked.

12 Claremont Square This Islington square stands in for Grimmauld Place. Sirius Black’s family once lived at number 12. 13 Scotland Place The telephone box that is the entrance to the Ministry of Magic is on this street in the film. 14Millennium Bridge London’s wobbliest structure is made a whole lot wobblier in an attack by a gang of Death Eaters. 15 Piccadilly Circus In ‘The Deathly Hallows’, Harry, Ron and Hermione flee to Tottenham Court Road after the Death Eaters invade the wedding, but in the film version they head here.■
