Houzz, the leading platform for home renovation and design, has debuted its newest app, Houzz for Apple TV, bringing home design to the living room.
The new platform has been imagined and built from the ground up to optimise the new device’s features. Apple TV provides a rich and immersive format for exploring beautiful home photos, discovering millions of new products and watching original video content from Houzz. With the app, home renovation and design is a fun and communal experience where users can share ideas and collaborate with friends and family.
Lionvest to show off at Domotex
Wood flooring agents, Lionvest Trading will be exhibiting brand new products for the UK with their Belgian partners Lalegno on their stand at Domotex in Hannover this January. With over 40 years of experience between them, Wayne Gumbrell, Damian Redman, Daniel Sinfield and Karl Tarczynski will be on hand to show off the entire Lalegno range of excellent flooring products. It is possible to view over 8 million retina-quality home photos as a slideshow. Users can filter photos by room, style, size, budget, layout and more and save favourites to ideabooks.
Using the new Apple TV remote, consumers can play with the swinging products tag. Thanks to the remote's accelerometer, the tags move in time to the movement of a user’s hand they can then click a tag to learn more about a particular product.
As well as all of this the app will bring Houzz TV to the television for the first time. Houzz TV was launched in May 2015 in response to demand from Houzzers to connect with, share and experience stories through video. From a single dad who remodels an airstream trailer and creates a home for his daughter, to a mother of six who creates a spectacular laundry room on a tiny budget, to a surprise home renovation Ashton Kutcher undertakes for his mum, users can now enjoy original Houzz TV programming on the big screen.
The Houzz App for iPhone and iPad, which has been localised for 11 countries, has more than 150,000 reviews with a five-star average rating. It is available for free on the App Store for Apple TV.
