FEATURE HOUZZ
Show Houzz
As a retailer or designer now’s the time to get on board with the interior design resource and connect with enthusiastic home improvers.
With more than 35 million users visiting the platform each month, Houzz is the world’s leading source for home renovation and design, bringing together homeowners, design professionals and design enthusiasts in one powerful online and mobile community.
The Houzz concept was founded in the US just over five years ago by a husband-and-wife team who were frustrated by the resources available to help them with their home renovation. Together, they set out to create an online platform that could help them articulate their vision for their home and to find the right professionals to make it a reality.
Community Engagement
By applying technology, Houzz has knocked down the barriers between homeowners wanting to improve their homes and the professionals who can help them to do so. The platform has grown entirely by word of mouth, because people find it’s such a valuable tool.
In July last year Houzz launched its UK platform with over 1 million monthly unique users. Today, more than 2 million people visit the site each month to hire professionals, find

Building Brand
There are more than 30,000 UK home renovation and design professionals, with 900,000 home improvement professionals globally, who use Houzz to build their brands via a free professional profile. The profile works like an online portfolio and showcases projects alongside customer reviews, business descriptions and trade associations.
It takes less than five minutes to create a profile that can potentially be seen by millions of homeowners, not only in the UK, but all over the world. In addition, the editorial team on Houzz are always scouring the image database for great projects to write about, so the more projects a designer or retailer can upload, the better.
To make it even easier to manage an online presence, Houzz has recently launched Site Designer, a free tool that enables professionals to create a beautifully designed
