IVC Demonstrates its Design Power
at Domotex IVC Group’s stand at this year’s Domotex demonstrated the power of its residential brands, Leoline and Avenue, to provide homeowners with on-style flooring packed with great performance features.
With new UK launches for both brands in Mercury XT for Leoline and Ultimate Style for Avenue, as well as updates to existing ranges, Domotex not only showcased the latest in style and technical developments from both brands, but also revealed the work that goes on behind the scenes.
Victoria Hemelaer, Product Manager for both brands, said: “Our in-house design development is something we are very proud of and it is responsible for keeping Avenue and Leoline at the very forefront of flooring style.
“Well before we launch a new collection, we spend a huge amount of time researching trends; bringing key colours, textures and materials together to create moods and then use these to decide on the direction of our looks.
including the ever-popular Fascination and Imagination ranges, as well as the striking new Oblique range.
Of course, lasting styles, such as Startwist, were also on show, with the manufacturer also launching a new rug programme. The Scala collection, designed for demanding environments such as care homes and residential facilities, also proved a hit with updated colours for 2016.
Birger Karlsson, UK Sales Director at Lano Carpets, said: “Domotex is the world’s largest trade fair and as such gives us a fantastic opportunity to tell our latest stories.
“With those such as our Taste of Luxury and Touchdown collections, and also refinements to existing qualities, our stand featured enough stories to tell of our position as one of Europe’s most prolific carpet manufacturers.”
Lano also used the exhibition to launch its 2016-2017 Landscaping artificial grass collection, an area of strong growth that may interest many retailers as homeowner thoughts turn to outdoor areas this spring. The range covers various styles in some of the most realistic synthetic grasses available today.

“It was great to show visitors just how we develop these styles right from the ground up.”
“New designs seen at Domotex showed this development in action, with more rustic woods, greys, contemporary stone tiles and a mineral look with our metallic prism chips. It was great to show visitors just how we develop these styles right from the ground up.”
Underlining the design found in all Avenue and Leoline floors, the organisers of Domotex selected flooring from Leoline’s European portfolio for its Innovations@Domotex feature area, a major attraction for show-goers looking for the most forward-thinking flooring available today.
Leoline also commissioned rising Belgian fashion designer, Tess Taelman, to create stunning coats made from Leoline cushion flooring under the #myfashion concept with extraordinary results.
