Hot Tub & Swim Spa Scene SPATEX REVIEW

Best Foot Forward Reports from the annual water leisure trade shows… ABOVE: SPATEX 2017 welcomed spa manufacturers and retailers from across the country.

SPATEX returned to the Ricoh Arena in Coventry in January, bringing together some of the leading spa manufacturers and retailers from across the continent.

Exhibitors went to great lengths to showcase a wide range of spa products and services at the three-day event. Among the stand-out exhibitors were Wellis, Villeroy & Boch, Passion Spas, GMT Spas, Elite Spas, Aqua Design & Leisure, Darlly

New Addition Suntrap Systems, who specialise in supplying pool lifts and hoists to ensure access for all, displayed three lifts on their stand at SPATEX 2017. • The Spa Ultra is a new addition to Suntrap Systems range of hoists and is designed for a hot tub or spa, as it will raise over a wall up to 129 cm high (over 4ft).

• The Power EZ lift is a popular, battery assisted hoist ideal for multiple locations.

• The fully automatic Portable Pro pool lift requires no poolside installation and is wheeled to where required.

Janet Cornthwaite of Suntrap Systems commented: “We found the show extremely productive as it seemed to generate a lot of interest in the lifts we exhibited and we think the mid-week format was benefi cial to both visitors and exhibitors.” Suntrap Systems
