BACKGROUND: The Briggs and Forrester Group started in Northampton in 1947 as a heating engineering business. In 1965 Philip Stanton, the father of current Group Chairman, Mike Stanton, joined the company and turnover reached the milestone figure of £50,000.

Briggs and Forrester Living reflects our desire to grow in the residential sector. “Our future vision is to expand this side of our business
regionally towards £100m by 2020. “Throughout our 70 years in business Briggs and Forrester
has adapted and developed in order to keep pace with extensive changes across the building services and construction industry. “We are proud to be a highly respected building services
company and of our role in the local community. We look forward to many more years of success and growth.”
COMPANY DESCRIPTION: The company is a major force in the building services market and one of the industry’s largest independent contractors. The Group is made up of five companies covering engineering, design, commissioning, maintenance and consultancy across the building services market. Projects are undertaken across a wide variety of market sectors. These include commercial developments, luxury residential properties, hi-tech laboratories, education and health provision. The Group has won numerous industry awards including a fourth President’s award from RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) in 2016.
