CONNECTING BUSINESSES

A communications giant has unveiled its new website. dbfb launched its new website at the end of January

to showcase its wide variety of services which cover every area of business communication, from connectivity, landlines, cloud services and mobiles, through to security and billing. The Northampton-based firm has also recently

enabled the first set of businesses in Northampton to connect to the town’s Gigabit City pure fibre network so they can receive ultra-fast internet speeds up to 100 times faster than the UK’s average. The market-leading services are provided by dbfb

and are made possible by its use of CityFibre’s 45km, state of the art pure fibre network. The partnership means dbfb can offer businesses

across the region access to a world-class fibre network. dbfb managing director Simon Pickering said:

“Practising what we preach, dbfb was the first business

in Northampton to take a gigabit connection. “We are already noticing the impact on our

productivity and will be excited to follow other early adopters as they plug in to gigabit speeds. We are delighted to be bringing this new generation of affordable gigabit business connectivity to our home town.” The company has also established its marketing department with the appointment of new marketing executive Chloe-Mae McGowan and has extended its sales team which is headed up by the company’s new sales director, Sam Lee. dbfb prides itself on working with customers to

understand their business goals and giving every customer the time, support and help they need. dbfb is also a proud sponsor of Cynthia Spencer

based at the University of Northampton campus in St George’s Avenue, but that building is due to close in 2018, so directors Dave Williams and Tom Jullings wanted to get on the front foot and find an office suitable for their needs. They have found the perfect

place at a new sandwich business in Wellingborough Road, Northampton. Dave said: “Locating new

office space had proved difficult, as there weren’t many options available but we came across the right solution at one of our Onefoursix Christmas Lunch and Learn events which was being hosted at a new sandwich venue. “It is a prime location and

the owner of the sandwich business has plans to open a networking parlour so we will be at the heart of a vibrant, small business scene.”
