As I am writing this month’s comments
I am feeling
stressed to the hills trying to prepare for a trip to see the in-laws back in the UK. As well as finalising work and sorting out a hire car, I still haven’t decided what to pack. After being told over the last few
days by friends, who
have recently returned from England, of just how cold it is there, my ideas of travelling light are being changed at the
prospect of lots of woolly jumpers, hats and scarves. Many of which I need to wash. Thank goodness I have a tumble dryer and so does my mother in law!!!
The plan is to visit family, start some Christmas shopping and try to relax after what have been a few very hectic weeks. I do believe the relaxation part might not happen until over Christmas when I will have some time off.
Speaking of Christmas, I cannot believe how quickly it has come around…again. I know I say the same every year, but the older I get, the quicker time seems to go. Before I know it I will be wishing you all the very best for 2018!! But in the meantime I wish you all a fantastic Christmas and a very happy, healthy New Year for 2017 and a very special thanks to the ongoing support from our advertisers and contributors - without you the magazine wouldn’t have become the popular publication it clearly is.
