Exponadal, Exhibition of children’s and youth entertainment returns to the IFA in Alicante. From the 23rd to 31st December 2016 the kids fun fair returns to Alicante’s Exhibition Centre. It’s open from 11am to 9pm and lots

Activities include a circus, exhibition, inflatable attractions, crafts, children’s books, family gymkhanas, consoles, sports, storytelling, magic, face painting, puppets, mailbox for the Three Kings, giant Scalextric, tombola, fishing for ducks, food, gifts, games ... Procession of the Three Kings, costume parades, etc. There is parking for 3,000 vehicles, a picnic area, restaurant and cafeteria.


Looking for something a little different or maybe a unique gift idea then look no further than Casa La Pedrera, Tea Garden and Craft Shop. You might even purchase a voucher for a Costa Blanca Quad Tours or Outdoor Activities: Open all year round but activities must be booked in advance.

Although the house has been closed since the 18th November you should know the Tea garden and Craft Shop will be open daily from 12pm to 4pm from 18th December to Friday 8th January for tea and cake and you will also be able to sit inside the house, that has been beautifully decorated for Christmas and grab a Christmas gift from the craft shop. Start Christmas with their ‘Grinch Stole Christmas Trail’. Follow the special Grinch inspired trail map and journey through the gardens and visit the Grinch’s Lair and much more. And don’t forget that after New Year, the Spanish move into their gift buying frenzy as they prepare for the arrival of the Three Kings, which is celebrated on the night of 5th January, with many towns and villages all having parades. One of the largest is in Torrevieja usually starting at around 5.30pm with the arrival of the Kings by boat into Torrevieja’s harbour.

Crime Watch Spain (Vecinos Colaborando) Reg. We are Torrevieja Maritime Association and our aim is to “Stimulate and maintain interest in maritime activities in the Torrevieja area among people of all nationalities”. Almoradi scrabble club. We meet at Cafebar Almoradi on the last Tuesday of the month from 3.30pm. We now have ten regular participants, however we really want to extend our membership.
