1. Culture of change We constantly tweak our schedul-
ing and programming, but we never lose focus on who we are or who our market is, and we never compromise quality to try something new. Our team works to understand our
target market, what our competition is doing and what is new in the indus- try. We know change is hard for some, so we instill a sense of excitement and purpose to every update to our pro- grams. We regularly incorporate or tri- al new ideas which keeps our members wondering what’s next!
2. Evaluations and assessments We listen to and apply member and
staff feedback collected from instruc- tor assessments, program evaluations and club surveys. Through experience, our members know we listen and they
trust our decisions. If we do make a poor decision, we value their feedback and make the necessary adjustments. We also use metrics, such as club us- age, program attendance and demo- graphics, to reinforce decisions.
3. Planning, progression and education Our approach has a considerable
amount of intent, including our team connecting regularly for staff train- ing and strategic planning and to share ideas and research trends. Staff
