September 2016 Time: 11.30am
This year’s annual reunion will take place at Mayfield on Sunday 25th
September. The
day will begin with Mass at 11.30am and is followed by lunch, a chance to tour the School and finishes with a delicious tea. All are welcome, including families.

Ignatian Weekend ‐ Silent Retreat (Stonyhurst Association) Date: 21st
‐ 23rd October 2016 (Places are limited to 10)
An Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality led by Fr Simon Bishop SJ
After such a successful retreat last year, the fifth annual Introduction to Ignatian Spirituality Retreat will once again be held at Mayfield School. This year’s leader will be Fr Simon Bishop SJ who, having lived, studied and worked in a number of Jesuit schools and in the chaplaincy at the University of Oxford, now co-ordinates the spirituality life and work of the Jesuits in Britain saying “the same fire continues to burn within me, the fire of the Lord’s love, full of freedom and joy, wanting to bring His healing and His peace to all He asks me to serve.”
Michaelmas Fair Date: 28
th September 2016 Time: 10am ‐ 3.30pm
The Michaelmas Fair is extremely popular among parents and in the locality and raises funds for the School. Over 40 professional stallholders are arranged in the courtyard, dining room, cloister & marquee offering fabulous gifts and merchandise for those organised enough to be doing their Christmas shopping early! Friends meet up to shop and have lunch in the café and, judging by the number of bags being carried out at the end of the day, a highly enjoyable time is had by all.
Cornelian Lectures Date: 29th
September and 3rd November 2016 Time: 7pm
All OCs are welcome to join us at our Cornelia Lectures. They begin at 7pm and last for approximately an hour and a half. Entrance is free. RSVP

3rd November ‐ Tara Button (Class of 2000) Founder and CEO will talk about the meteoric launch of BuyMeOnce and how she is championing the environment and challenging our throwaway society.

December 2016 Time: 4.30pm
Once again we will be hosting a cream tea for Old Cornelians and their families on 7th
December 2016. Tea will be served in
the Courtyard, child friendly and full of festive spirit. Guests can then enjoy the procession through the village with no urgency as pews are reserved for Old Cornelians.
Do book early as last year this was hugely popular and there is a limit to the number of seats we are able to reserve in Chapel. RSVP
