Team Canada MIXED - Biking, euchre, whoopie cushions and more Love Island
All players that are lucky enough to attend a World Championship would agree that while the opportunity to take the field to represent your country is the number one reason to go to Worlds, some of the longest-lasting and best memories are created off of the field.
Megan O’Brien bikes “fearlessly” around London
This was definitely the case for TC Mixed in London. When we weren’t on the field we spent virtually every waking moment together. Our days consisted of playing roughly 800 rousing games of euchre, falling in love with the UK’s premiere reality show aptly
titled “Love Island,” and setting up the infamous Whoopie Cushion Interview pranks that you may have caught on Snapchat.
We biked fearlessly around London, we ate pie at the Borough Market, and we watched some amazing teams play the sport we love all in their own unique styles.
As the tournament ended we came together for one last time at the party to dance and to celebrate not only our bronze medals, but also our friendships - old and new.
