BRITISH COLUMBIA Ultimate joins Americas Masters Games


Vancouver hosts inaugural multi-sport event Assembled by KEVIN UNDERHILL


Ultimate has been given the


chance to compete in a new multi-sport event. The inaugural Americas Masters Games is being held in Vancouver and Ultimate is one of 24 sports taking place in late August. The Ultimate competition will take place on August 27-28 in Vancouver, BC.

of BC Ultimate, eight men’s teams and six women’s teams have expressed interest in playing in the inaugural event. The inclusion of Ultimate in another multi-sport event is another stepping stone towards promotion of our sport

nation- and world-wide.


More about the Americas Masters Games The inaugural Masters Games


in the Pan-American region will take place in Vancouver, Canada in August 2016. This nine-day event is open to competitors from around world who meet the minimum age requirement of 30 years. This event is designed to complement the World Masters Games and create a regular opportunity for Masters athletes to compete in the Americas region.
