85mm ELECTRONIC PROGRAMMABLE SPEEDOMETER This instrument fits in an 80mm diameter hole and works by receiving a series of pulses, generated by magnets passing by a sensor probe and converting them into an analogue display on the instrument. A magnetic sensor and six magnets are supplied but other types of input signals over a wide range of pulse frequencies can also be used. Pulse counts between 2500 and 135,000 per mile are accommodated by changing the 10 DIP switches on the rear of the speedo.
