Normally my big toe doesn't hit the pool until well into August, but this year I have been in almost daily with darling granddaughter. She loves it and has no fear at all. This is both great and worrying at the same time. We now need eyes in the back of our heads at all times - not only regarding the pool.
Although all she drinks is water, trying to get an almost 2 year old to drink enough in this heat (apart from gulping down most of the pool water) is also proving to be a challenge - any suggestions will be greatly received. We have tried juices and adding flavours to the water but that is not an option for her and she reacts with a look which implies we are trying to poison her. OK onto the most 'important' matter of the moment - Pokemon Go. I personally don't get what all the fuss is about. I also can't believe that the makers can get away with putting these creatures anywhere they want, including inside hospitals! Darling daughter has at least one of them in her shop and is constantly being invaded by individuals of all ages, who crash into everything as they are not concentrating on where they are going, leave a trail of destruction and don't buy anything. I am just getting old or are there better things to do with your time!
