DELMER & CECIL

sayin’ nothin’ about nothin’

Cecil: Well, the snow’s all gone, the geese are back crappin’ in the fields, I guess summer’s finally arrived! Delmer: I went down to the municipal beach yesterday and Gladys Tomkins was there with Ernie. There oughta be some sort of by-law against some people wearin’ bikinis! Cecil: Careful what ya say, Delmer. Delmer: Whaddya mean? Cecile: It’s not politically correct these days ta say anything about anything. Delmer: I was just gonna say I thought they retired all the circus elephants. Cecil: See, that’s what I mean! If the “League of Chunky Women Beach Aficionados” heard ya say that, there’d be hell ta pay! Delmer: All I’m sayin’ is she looks like her chute didn’t open. Cecil: Now the “Parachute Makers of Greater Thurso” would get pissed off! Delmer: Holy geez, ya can’t say nothin’ about nothin’, yer right!
