Your Pet Day 

HAPPY NEW READER = HAPPY LOCAL ADVERTISER I recently moved from Indiana to Florida with a beautiful pair of Dachshunds named Paris and Muggsy. My biggest con- cern was how to find a veterinarian I could trust as much as the one we had in Indiana (a task I expected to be very chal- lenging). Luckily, I was

handed a copy of The New Barker. As I flipped through the pages, I came across The New Barker Veterinary Advisory Board. After some research, I found that Dr. Shawna

Green with Medicine River Animal Hospital offered the same services as our veterinarian in Indiana. I scheduled my pups’ yearly check-ups with Dr. Green.

She found a lump on my nine-year-old, Princess Paris which I hadn’t even noticed. Dr. Shawna Green quickly had her sched- uled within the week for surgery. Dropping off Paris in the morning for surgery was very

difficult, but the staff made me feel at ease and called me as soon as Paris woke up from surgery. Dr. Green personally came out and shared with me how the surgery went, and what to do at home for healing and recovery. I am relieved to have found a veterinarian that I can trust

my pets with and feel as comfortable as I do my vet of ten years back in Indiana. Many thanks to The New Barker, Dr. Green and her entire staff. Cheryl Cabanaw, Clearwater

THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONTINUED SUPPORT This note is long overdue to give you many “thank you’s” for the hard work we are sure you do in putting out The New Barker. The name caught my eye the first time I saw it at Fluffy Puppies in Belleair and we have enjoyed it ever since. The ads are informative. I enjoy know- ing about the upcoming events and reading the heartwarming stories that make me really think. It’s so much fun and helpful information all rolled into

one magazine. I have enclosed a check for $72 to cover a four-year subscription. With warm regards, Jim and Erin Mills, Belleair
