Country Cottages is the largest holiday agency in the south Hams dedicated solely to marketing properties in this Area of outstanding Natural Beauty. As active directors in the business, my wife, Karen and I are committed to providing our property owners and holiday customers with the highest possible level of service and as a consequence we have developed a strong reputation and successful brand over the past fifteen years. We love what we do and are very ably supported

by a fantastic team of nearly 40 across our two offices, plus a wide network of cleaners, caretakers, contractors, suppliers and tourism professionals. our main objective has always been (and remains) to offer our guests the highest standard and widest selection of accommodation in this unique location and ensure that all is done to make their holiday experience a memorable one, for all the right reasons! We are proud to boast that the vast majority of properties marketed through the agency are now equipped and presented to a Visitengland 4-star or 5-star level, with many also achieving the additional Gold level for excellence. the days of ‘granny’s cast-offs’ are long gone, with most customers, irrespective of budget, now looking for holiday accommodation at least as good as they have at home. Working with our property owners and often with our own in-house property services team – who can manage projects from small maintenance issues to full-scale refurbishments on behalf of owners – we have embraced the trend for higher standard properties which is certainly here to stay! our reputation for delivering consistently high standards

We are currently looking for new luxury holiday

of service and accommodation – in tandem with energetic, innovative and often bespoke marketing campaigns – has not only led to higher numbers of new enquirers, repeat customers and bookings every year since 2001, but earned the company the coveted British travel Award for Best uK self-Catering Holiday Booking Company (small) for two consec- utive years, in 2014 and 2015. We have also been delighted to be recognized for excel- lence in customer service with Feefo’s Gold trusted Merchant Accreditation. Customers are increasingly looking for companies they can trust and these accolades provide them

with the further reassurance they need and the confidence to choose us in an ever more competitive marketplace. Dartmouth is very important to us. We’ve had an office, and a locally based team, in the town since 2004 and have seen our Dartmouth portfolio expand from around 30 properties to nearly 130 in this time. In the past few months, new property enquiries have been particularly buoyant and we have been delighted to add some fantas-
