Through the Oxfordshire Business Support (OBS) team, there’s a real emphasis on enabling access to expert advice and mentoring for all types of businesses, not just those in the hi-tech sector; while for businesses at any stage of their lifecycle, Network Navigators provide advice, guidance and signposting to sources of help. OBS also provides support on everything from marketing to applying for grants and starting a business.

Programmes running in Oxfordshire include Oxfordshire Business Enterprises for free advice on starting and running a business; and Oxford Business Mentors, which offers a free mentoring service to owner-managed businesses.

And, looking ahead to the next generation, O2i Opportunities to Inspire, provides links between employers and education across the county to help inspire today’s youngsters in their future careers.

By 2030, OxLEP’s key goal is to have strengthened Oxfordshire’s position as a vibrant, sustainable, inclusive, world-leading economy, driven by innovation, enterprise and research excellence.
