at 14.5 kilometres long by eight kilome- tres wide. It is home to the very famous Jersey cow and Jersey Royal Potato. Te island’s agricultural industry has always been a steadfast supplier not only to the local population, but to mainland Eng- land as well. Growing up on an island the size of Jersey was perfect for me. I have so many vivid memories from my child- hood – running down the hill from our home to the beach, jumping on board my dad’s boat and going fishing, meet- ing up with friends to go surfing, or just lying on the beach to take in the always present sun.
