Laura has been the Pharmacist Manager of Boots Woodstock Road for over ten years. She completed her pre-registration training in this pharmacy in 2002-2003 and after a few years working as a relief Pharmacist, returned to Woodstock as the Pharmacist Manager - and it’s been her home ever since.

Laura has undertaken training to deliver a wide range of pharmacy services to the patients in her community including Medicines Use Reviews, Minor Ailments, Drug User Services to name just a few. In caring

for the needs of her local community, Laura is always seeking to develop both herself and her pharmacy team further.

One recent example is where she realised that language is often a barrier to accessing the full suite of pharmacy services for some of her patients, so she co-developed a Building Community Pharmacy Partnership (BCPP) project to help address this need.

Laura ensures that patient safety and care is at the heart of her pharmacy

and she inspires her pharmacy colleagues to be at their best for patients every day.

She coaches and develops each colleague, ensuring they have a personalised training and development plan to deliver the high level of care she expects for her patients.

Boots UK has recognised Laura’s commitment to developing community pharmacists of the future and her pharmacy is often a base for summer placement pharmacy students.
