Jalon Valley Help’s Charity Auction

Jalon Valley Help’s Charity Auction is being held on 11th March at El Cid in Benidoleig. Every year hundreds of items are donated by our generous supporters to raise funds for the work that we do

in the community supporting those in need of help. This year many donations of fine china and porcelain have been received, and items from Coalport, Minton, Moorcroft and Portmeirion will be on offer, along with an enormous variety of other things, including bikes. Viewing starts at 12 noon and the auction at 1pm. The best way to enjoy the proceedings in comfort is to book a table for lunch (ring 966 404 364) and treat yourself to a drink or two… Come along and bag yourself a bargain, as well as helping us to help those in need.

The Rojales Neighbourhood Watch Group will be holding a meeting on Monday 14th March at 11am in the Municipal Centre in Ciudad Quesada. It is some time since we had a reunion and this will be your chance to tell Pat and myself how you would like the group to be run. Do you want more regular meetings? Would you rather just have a newsletter? Would you prefer to use Facebook to keep abreast of crimes or other incidents in the area? Would YOU be prepared to offer help as Secretary, Communications, Treasurer? You don’t have to be a member. In fact we would love to have more members to share information with their friends and neighbours and help to reduce crime in our area. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Helen Tudor (helentudor22@gmail.com).
