Female Focus Stay properly equipped with Parasol Care Centre
Having been open for coming up to a year and a half, one of the questions we are regularly asked is ‘Do we supply new mobility equipment?’ or ‘Can we mend existing mobility equipment that has broken?’ The answer to both questions is YES!
Repairing mobility equipment Many of our customers are heavily reliant upon their mobility equipment for their day-to-day activities, and there is nothing worse or more debilitating than when it breaks down. Whether it be your mobility scooter, electric wheelchair, rollator, or anything else related to mobility don’t worry here at Parasol Care Centre we will endeavour to fix it. We are able to supply and fit batteries for most types of scooters, and this can be done either by you bringing your scooter here to the shop, or in most cases by appointment at your home. Also, many pieces of equipment need to be serviced annually to continue to ensure they are safe, and work properly. We can do this for you and give each piece of equipment a ‘health check’ of its own.
Supply and fit of new mobility equipment For those customers needing mobility equipment for the first time, or to replace what they currently have, we can supply and fit all sorts of equipment and mobility aids. As well as wheelchairs, mobility scooters, electric wheelchairs and rollators we can also supply and fit ‘grab rails’ around your house, a ‘stairlift’ if needed, or a ‘stair steady’ which is excellent if you have had a hip operation or need a little bit of extra stability when going up or down stairs. We will also help with replacing toilet seats and any other pieces of mobility equipment essential to you.
Equipment rental Sometimes equipment is not needed on a long term basis, but just needed for a recovery period. Or it maybe that equipment is needed for someone visiting on holiday. At Parasol Care Centre we also offer short term rental of mobility equipment such as a shower chair, a hospital bed or a hoist on a weekly or monthly basis, as well as wheelchairs and scooters. And for a small charge we can arrange delivery of the equipment too, meaning that you don´t have to worry about organising anything; we will take care of it for you.
Nursing Assistance
Along with our weekly or monthly equipment rental, our care services are open to all; the customer does not have to be a permanent customer. We are able to help those returning home after operations during their recuperation period, and we are also able to provide assistance to family members who are here on holiday requiring assistance, so that family members can properly enjoy their well earned break.
