Benidorm and District Branch The Royal British Legion

We meet on the first Friday of each month at 11am at Ciudad Patricia Seniors Resort, Benidorm. The facilities are excellent for our purpose and very comfortable and with bar and restaurant access, ample parking and with a shuttle bus from Benidorm centre to the Social centre of Ciudad Patricia. On the second Friday of each month we hold a coffee morning – usually at Café Salt and Pepper, Albir and the third Friday we have a friendly lunch together at venues that alternate between Benidorm and Alfas/ Albir. We have occasional

one day excursions to places of interest. Regular updates on our choice of social venues will be published in the local media or telephone Pam on 96 686 0735 to check and book where necessary. March: General Meeting, Ciudad Patricia, Friday 4th at 11am. Coffee morning, Salt and Pepper Albir, Fri 11th at 11am. Lunch to be confirmed. A most important aspect of the work of the Legion is welfare. There are many ways in which we can help ex-Service people (all those who have seen some service in the Armed Forces may be beneficiaries) and their dependants. Contact the branch pdawson802t@cv.gva.es or call 96 686 0735 or go direct to District Welfare Officer on 676 451 780, 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday or email welfare.rbl.dns@gmail.com.

Management of Blues Weiser has just been taken over by Ana Gay, and if that name sounds familiar, it should be. Ana is one of the key people at Link Point who writes our monthly legal column on page 8.
