Recently I visited the WME School at Masaya for the first time. As I en- tered the gates, I was deeply moved to find the grounds filled with smiling young faces. The children welcomed us with happy chatter, songs, laugh- ter and hugs. What a blessing it was to bear witness to an outreach that has been a beacon of hope for over 40 years!


Our team met with local high school children supported by WME’s child sponsorship program. They shared with us their dreams to train in fields like engineering, medicine, computers and education. These young peo- ple also asked us to convey their deepest thanks to the sponsors who made their education possible.
