While our work in developing nations is well known, a question we hear from time-to-time is, “DOESWME DO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES?” THE ANWER IS A RESOUNDING, “YES!”


For those called to reach out to their “neighbors,” WME has several outreach programs that operate in the USA. In fact, in 2016 WME is putting a renewed focus on highlighting our efforts in the USA.


Many supporters and mis- sion partners are aware of WME’s annual Christmas program that supplies good meals to poor families while providing toys to children who otherwise would have no gifts at Christmas. But were you aware that WME has operated food pantries in West Virginia and South Texas for decades? These missions are part of WME’s Food For Hunger Program in the USA, and they are located in communities where a lack of good, stable jobs has
