As a bonus, the students were blessed with real-world experi- ence in a foreign country and were an inspiration to the area’s Christian leaders, the local ministry and church members. The strong relationships these college students formed are a blessing now and will prove beneficial for years to come.


Psalm 133 clearly tells us that unified teamwork will produce results re- gardless of whether we’re in the heat of the desert or in the cold of the mountain top. When Christian believers bring together their resources, God- given talents and commitment to minister to others, the Lord will command the blessing of ongoing life and prosperity. The students on this trip found this out firsthand.


As I reviewed SAGU’s mission trip report, I thought back to the history of my father’s very suc- cessful ministry in Australia and New Zealand. From his records it was apparent that blessing and success fol- lowed when divisions and schisms were set aside and believers came together to do the work of the Lord in a spirit of unity in Christ. This is why our Board works so well together and have been such a rich blessing to WME...We are a team with a common goal.
