I decided at a young age to become a


doctor. I became very ill when I was five and needed emergency surgery. Even though I was scared, I was fascinated by the doctors and nurses caring for me. After that experience, I knew I wanted to be a doctor.


My dad always told me I could be anything I wanted. I want all girls to believe that message. Don’t be afraid to work hard and go for your dreams. I love the quote by Robert H. Schuller, ‘What would you do if you knew you couldn’t fail?’”


TIPS FROM THE DOCTOR


EXERCISE A LITTLE EVERYDAY. EXERCISING EVEN JUST A LITTLE HELPS A LOT IN MAINTAINING A HEALTHY WEIGHT.


PACK YOUR OWN LUNCH AND SNACKS AND AVOID SODA AND JUICE. MAKE GOOD CHOICES. IT IS TOTALLY FINE TO HAVE A TREAT ONCE IN A WHILE, BUT NOT DAILY.


EAT A LOT OF HEALTHY AND DELICIOUS FOOD. I EAT A LOT! I LOVE YUMMY FOOD. IF YOU EAT THE RIGHT FOODS THAT ARE COOKED THE RIGHT WAY, YOU CAN ENJOY FOOD AND MAIN- TAIN A HEALTHY WEIGHT WHILE FEELING VERY SATISFIED.


BELIEVE IN YOURSELF. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL, KIND, LOVING, AND WONDERFUL NO MATTER WHAT SIZE YOU ARE. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND BE THE HEALTHIEST THAT YOU CAN BE.
