Fulham, Derroll Tozer’s Chairs & Upholstery Shop built up a reputation for high-quality upholstery working for top London interior designers and the rich and famous. Having decided to move to the country,
owner Derroll Tozer stumbled across Tunbridge Wells, fell in love with it and opened the shop in 2003, enabling him to share his experience and skills on a more public level. At Derroll Tozer’s Chairs & Upholstery shop, all antique furniture upholstery is undertaken using traditional methods and materials. If you choose to have a piece of furniture completely re-upholstered it will be stripped to the frame and re-upholstered to its original style, repairing frame work where needed. The piece will also be re-polished and waxed. If your chair or sofa is in very good upholstery condition then the existing fabric will be removed, the frame work will be waxed and the piece of furniture will be lightly re-padded and recovered in your chosen fabric. If you are looking for made-to-measure kitchen and restaurant seating then the team of skilled craftsmen can easily meet your needs and they can also enhance your window seats with made-to- measure cushions, as well as offering loose covers and
replacement furniture cushions. Other
services include French polishing and furniture repairs and restoration. However, if it is not your home but your mode of transport you are looking to spruce up, then the shop also provides camper van and boat upholstery as well as antique car upholstery.
