big impact on me.

How did you come to your current po- sition as Executive Director of The Big House Museum? In June 2014 my family moved to Georgia

from NY to be closer to my father in law and let the kids grow up closer to their grandpar- ents. We came for family, no jobs but a desire to work hard. I applied for a job at the mu- seum and was asked if I thought I would be able to be a good leader and would I be inter- ested in being the Executive Director of the museum. So I was hired. Its an amazing job, one I feel like I have trained for all of my ca- reer to get here.

The Big House is just an amazing place for Allman Bros fans. I have never seen so many artifacts in one place. What are some of your favorite exhibits? I love seeing the documentation we have from contracts for shows, letters to the wives and girlfriends `and requests for payments by the band members. I love seeing so many items from Allen Woody and his families generos- ity.

What does it mean to you to be in charge of this amazing place? It is a great honor to work at The Big House Museum. To have the trust of our board members and donors is something I am very proud of. Having had a relationship with board members band members and trustees for so many years makes me uniquely quali- fied to be here. I’ve been very fortunate in my career to have worked with so many artists and well known people but so much of it comes back to The Allman Brothers Band.

What are some of the things you have been doing to bring even more people to the museum? This summer we launched a monthly music series called “Last Sunday at The Big House”.
