Why throw something away if it still has plenty of working life left in it?
This was the situation discovered by LUX-AL when they were recently asked to renew the sunblinds at the house of John & Pauline Allonby in Moraira.
Yes LUX-AL can produce new toldos (sunblinds) in all shapes, sizes and colours but actually, despite being over 12 years old, there was nothing really wrong with the mechanisms of the existing blinds. Long standing LUX-AL clients John and Pauline bought their house over 12 years ago and first used LUX-AL for a new kitchen door about 8 years ago. After that LUX-AL replaced various windows around the house, and just recently they have been asked to help renew the sunblinds. “The fabric was all old and torn, and the sun had taken its toll on them” says Pauline. “We were quite prepared to buy new ones if necessary, because the sunblinds had been here ever since we bought the house. But then when Dennis Humphries (from LUX-AL) came and took a good look at them, he suggested that we recover them since the mechanics still seemed pretty good. With a small over-hall and new coverings he advised that we would save quite a bit of money”. So that is what happened. The sunblinds were removed by the LUX-AL team, serviced and recovered and about four weeks later were installed back into place, all smart, functioning fine, and John and Pauline are delighted with the result. “Like most people we don’t like throwing things out if they still have useful life left in them and it worked out much cheaper too” says Pauline. When asked about the service they have received from LUX- AL over the years Pauline gives a glowing testimony. “We have been ever so pleased with the service from Brian, Dennis, Johanna and the team. They have helped us time and time again, and every time we have found their price to be perfectly reasonable, the staff to be always friendly and attentive, and generally very good.” She continues “In fact I would give them a ten and a half out of ten”.
