Golden Leaves steps in to sponsor the 7th Art Competition in Quesada on Tuesday 20th October.
Golden Leaves are sponsoring the competition, held for the first time at The Club in Quesada and artists from as far as Denia in the North to
the Mar Menor in the South and inland as far as Hondon will come together in Quesada to enter this popular local competition.
The competition started with a small group of 15 artists displaying 32 paintings and has grown each year - at the last event there were over 100 paintings submitted by 61 artists. Once again we hope to attract a similar amount of paintings although we could take more as we have two very large rooms in which to display the paintings. Artists wishing to enter should email
sueinthesun@hotmail.co.uk for full details. This year there will be the addition of an afternoon tea and the price is just €7.95 booking times are 1.30pm, 2pm, 2.30pm and 3pm. All paintings can be priced for sale and to enter one painting is €7 to enter 3 is just €15. Doors are open to the public for viewing at 12 midday and if you have booked afternoon tea you will be greeted with a glass of complimentary Cava to enjoy while you view the paintings. Entrance to view is free and Cava will also be available to everyone when they arrive at €1 a glass.
Fund raising during the day will be for the registered charity The Children’s Home in Elche. The Club will also be offering a special menu on the day and you will be able
to pre-order.
