‘FRESH ART’
At Coombe this summer we are embracing both traditional and modern styles with our exhibits.
We have some new artists for the gallery, namely Chuck
elliott, Dominic Vonbern and Karen nicol as well as new work by sir peter blake, Connor ragus and Clark nicol.
Chuck Elliott is a
bristol based artist whose work explores new ways of drawing and digitally sculpting form, using 3d computer modelling techniques. After creating the works digitally they are produced as Lambda photographic prints. these are then mounted using a Diasec process. this is a patented process, by which paper prints are permanently bonded to cast acrylic sheet.

Clark Nicol is head of Art and photography at plymouth
College of Art and Design. Having studied painting n scotland under under Alberto morrocco and Jack Knox he is now based in Devon on Dartmoor. He has created some beautiful beach scenes capturing the shifting sands of the north Devon coast.
Dominic Vonbern is a swiss artist based in torquay who fuses mixed techniques with giclée prints to create his urban edged work.
All these artists and more are on display until mid september when we will be holding our annual ‘Rising
