and will be staying until the 28th. tenacious leaves her home port of poole on 24th August and will also be staying in Dartmouth for a couple of days. the spectacular Regatta fireworks displays on
thursday and saturday evenings can, this year, both be viewed in the Harbour area. the saturday show will feature a special 16 minute programme of accompanying music based on the themes of the navy and the sea. both displays start at 9pm. Finally, the programme of Air Displays will once again be an outstanding feature of the regatta. The Red Arrows and the Typhoon will both be back and this year the Battle of Britain Memorial flight will be displaying on both Friday and saturday. Other aircraft taking part are the north American T6 Texan, built in 1942, and the Pitts S25 Bi-Plane. the royal navy Sea King Helicopter will

be giving a display with the RNLI Lifeboat on saturday afternoon at 5pm. the Royal Navy Raiders Parachute Display Team will also be dropping in on saturday 29th August at 1pm. Overall the regatta brings to Dartmouth a fantastic week of sport and entertainment with something for everybody. There will be much more information on the Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta website at
