HOMEOPATHY – The medicine of the future Homeopathy is the second most widely practised therapy in the world, is the

preferred medicine of the Royal family and was praised by Gandhi and Mother Teresa, but sadly is still largely misunderstood.

Homeo means similar Pathy means illness Homeopathy works on the principle of “like heals like” or the “law of similars”. During the hour or two consultation with a homeopath, the sole objective is to find a remedy as similar as possible to the illness you are presenting with. Homeopaths understand that two similar illnesses cannot exist in the body at the same time. The introduction of a similar remedy to the symptoms of the illness, stimulates the body’s vital force so that healing can take place. The cells of the body have the intelligence within them so that when you cut your finger, you know that it will heal itself if given the time. Homeopathy merely speeds up the process. It’s the same with all or most systems within the body, including: • The mind when dealing with anxiety or depression

• Organs that are not functioning as they should be

Hormonal imbalances. The bottom line is that homeopathy

stimulates and raises the frequency of vibration in order to speed the process of healing. You may choose to believe it or not, but you don’t need to believe it in order for it to work; otherwise veterinary homeopathy would have been abandoned a long time ago.

How does it work? Homeopathy is a system of natural

medicine that can be likened to the tuning of a piano, just like a tuning fork can influence a guitar or piano string. Often the string needs to be adjusted before the correct tone is found. Homeopathy works in a similar way

in that you may begin to feel worse temporarily before you will feel better.

By matching a homeopathic remedy to the unique state of a person’s health, it is possible for them to heal on many levels simultaneously: mentally, emotionally and physically, by balancing the intricate mind/body connection.

Homeopathy triggers an energetic stimulation, influencing the vital force and changing the very chemistry of the cells with an energetic imprint much like the energetic imprint of water molecules in the work of Masaru Emoto (2005).

Picking up good vibrations Homeopathy is a vibrational medicine

and science is only just beginning to understand and discover what that implies. All of life, everything you see, feel and touch is made of vibration. The low, dense vibrations are heavy matter, the higher, more refined vibrations make up what you see as light. Your own body is a vibration,

Emoto discovered that when water is exposed to positive emotions, such as love and gratitude, beautiful crystals form once the water is frozen as though the emotions have had an influence on the water. Negative words such as “I hate you” produced grotesque shapes and would not form crystals at all. Homeopathy works in a similar way in that the water “remembers” and is influenced by the original substance that was placed in the water before it was highly diluted, even though none of the original substance remains.

animated by life force energy. High and low vibrations either create life force energy to keep us in a state of health or drain life force energy causing illness. Every thought and feeling you have has an effect on this life force and if you subscribe to the philosophy of people such as Louise Hay (1999), the thoughts you have influence the health of your body. But there are also other factors that

need to be taken into consideration, such as what are your inherited predispositions to disease? What kind of foods are you ingesting to influence your life force energy? While eating healthy food helps make homeopathy more readily effective, the beauty of homeopathy is that it is forgiving of past mistakes and will help to balance the
