“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us…And came and preached peace to you which were afar off, and to them that were nigh. For through him we both have access by one Spirit unto the Father. Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citi- zens with the saints, and of the house- hold of God…” – Ephesians 2:13-19


Nothing could have pre- pared me for the im- mediate and overwhelming Spirit of the Lord that I felt when I visited the Gypsy village of Balaneasa, Romania. A group of Christian Gypsies were worshipping under a thatched roof out in the open air because they had outgrown their indoor, one-room church. The music coming from a very old, electric piano and an accordion that was missing keys immedi- ately filled my soul. It literally sounded like Heaven on earth, and it lifted my spirit in ways I
